Finding the right people to fit into your organization is not a simple task.  It takes more than a couple of assessments or an interview.  But taking the time to do it right can mean that your organization can find the right people that can make all the difference in the success levels of  your organization.  We help your organization create systems that will help you find and bring on board the right kinds of people to help you achieve great things.

We believe in the following:

  • Key employees who will be working with your new employee should be involved in the selection process.

  • A single interview will not provide you with the valuable information you will need regarding potential "fit" and alignment with the organization's Purpose, Values, and Vision.  There should be multiple contacts with potential employees so as many people as possible can assess "fit."

  • That you should never use an assessment that benchmarks an employee to some predetermined "fit" on a profile.  An assessment that tends to do nothing but "match" a candidate to a series of "benchmarks" will not provide you with the information you need regarding organizational culture fit and behavioral adaptability.

  • That a well structured behavioral interviewing process should be used.  We advocate the use of the DiSC® Behavioral Management System™ be utilized when creating these questions so that you can learn about the potential new member's behavioral adaptability.  Use of the Role Behavior Analysis is particularly valuable in this approach.

  • That finding the best talent who also make the best fit with your organization is an ongoing process and should not just be done when you have a position open.

Spending time, effort, and money on the front end of the hiring process will help decrease the spending of time, effort, and money on the back end to get rid of the wrong person who isn't working out.  In addition, you achieve higher levels of productivity and innovation when you hire the right people into your organization.
