About Our Relationship with Inscape Publishing

Since 1997, RDS has been an authorized Inscape Publishing Distributor.  Over 30 years ago, Inscape Publishing pioneered commercializing the DiSC® assessment — bringing it out of the textbook and into the workplace. Today, Inscape's solution-focused products have been used worldwide in thousands of organizations of all sizes, major government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies.

In 2003, Inscape introduced EPIC, an online assessment-delivery system. EPIC allows trainers to send assessments as pre-work and print participant assessments prior to the training — saving class time. In addition, EPIC increases Inscape's ability to create highly personalized products. Today, more than half of all Inscape assessments are completed online via EPIC.

Every year, more than a million people worldwide learn how to work more effectively with others using our products. Translated into 25 different languages and used in 50 countries, Inscape solutions offer consistent, research-based training across organizations — regardless of geography.

RDS uses a variety of assessments from Inscape Publishing in our work with our clients.  At center stage are the many DiSC® profiles, group reports, action planners and other tools to help managers engage their employees.  Inscape’s Work Expectations Profile is also a core component for our Workplace Engagement Survey™.

About Our Relationship with ICPM

In 2003, RDS became an approved training provider for the Institute of Certified Professional Managers.  ICPM was founded in 1974, through a grant from the George R. Brown Foundation, to educate and recognize managers via a professional certification (the Certified Manager Program) by management educators and members of two professional trade groups the National Management Association and the International Management Council.

Today ICPM is located on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, USA and is a business center of the JMU College of Business

ICPM is governed by a Board of Regents comprised of business executives, industry representatives, academicians, and the NMA President. The executive director of the Institute, Dr. Robert Reid, also serves James Madison University as the Dean of the College of Business.

In 2009 Gary was appointed to the Board of Regents for ICPM.

Gary also writes a bi-monthly column for Management World Magazine
